Rowena has a wide range of medical writing and editing skills, gained from 15 years within the healthcare communications arena. Rowena's last post was Senior Team Writer/Editor at Caudex Medical/TMG Healthcare Communications. Prior to her arrival in England in 2002, Rowena managed a small medical education agency in Sydney, Australia. Before entering healthcare communications, Rowena worked as a clinical dietician and a health promotion nutritionist.

Rowena enjoys working on a wide variety of communications projects, from conventional printed marketing/meeting support materials, to new media training initiatives. She also relishes writing and editing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals, and has a particular interest in CME programmes.

Throughout her time in medical communications Rowena has worked on a broad range of therapeutic areas, most recently specializing in multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, biosurgery, vaccines, travel health and acute heart failure. Other areas of writing experience include erectile dysfunction, GI disorders, hypertension, respiratory medicine, anti-infectives, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson's disease, depression, and nutrition.
