Jennifer Green PhD
Senior Medical Writer

Jennifer gained her PhD from the University of Liverpool, where she investigated the microbial ecology of deep sediment cores sampled from Lake Windermere. Prior to this she gained a First Class Honours Degree in Microbiology from the same institution. She then went on to spend two years as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Central Lancashire studying the molecular mechanisms of neurotransmitter exocytosis from postsynaptic nerve terminals. Jennifer joined Alpha-Plus as a Trainee Medical Writer/Editorial Assistant in October 2007, and completed a fast-track development programme to become a Medical Writer in April 2008.
In light of her valuable contributions to Alpha-Plus over the following year, she was promoted to Senior Medical Writer in May 2009, just 18 months after joining the team.
